Activision a recunoscut oficial ca in aceasta toamna (2011) va avea loc lansarea unui nou joc din seria Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 3

Oficial, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 va fi lansat pe 8 noiembrie 2011, jocul fiind asteptat pe platformele HD obisnuite (PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), existand insa zvonuri conform carora jocul va fi lansat si pentru noua consola Nintendo.
